Description Of Project

Foss Park Golf Course project, North Chicago; is a "bank stabilization" project wherein the failed ditch bank is being stabilized by cutting back the side slopes and the slopes are then being landscaped with native plant materials. This project is being done to reduce erosion, improve storm water storage, and provide minor ponding to improve aquatic life in the stream. This work is scheduled for completion in June of 2010.
